The WOLSELEY LODGE on the Picturesque French River - The Wolseley Lodge is on the ?Top? section of the lower French River with 25 km of navigable water and lots of islands bays and rapids. The "River" is more like a Lake and is at some spots 1km across and more. The French is known for great fishing including Musky, Walleye/Pickerel, Northern Pike and Bass. Our restaurant in the Lodge has a large variety of meals and is open daily from 7:00 am to 9:30 p.m. We have 16 fully equipped cabins with electric heat, private 3 pc. bath, refrigerator and range for rent (Housekeeping or American Plan) 8 cabins are on the water front and the other 8 are on the hillside, some have a water view with deck or screened porch. The American Plan is available from $699.00 per week. The Housekeeping rates start at $445.00 per week for a 1 bedroom cabin. Our rental boats are 2002 and 2004 models and one 24? Pontoon. All boats are having electric start motors (15 or 25hp) and live wells. The rental rates start at with $70.00 a day or $350,00 a week.
