GET HOOKED ON HAPPY DAY LODGE! We are located between Chapleau & Wawa. We invite you to experience the great outdoor atmosphere while fishing for walleye, northern pike, small mouth bass, lake trout and whitefish on beautiful Windermere Lake. In the Chapleau area, we are known for having one of the best quality fishing lakes around. We offer newer housekeeping cabins, outpost cabin and well maintained camping facilities with water, sewer and electric hookups. We are the ONLY OUTFITTER located on this 20 mile long lake that is known for it's 133 miles of shoreline,128 islands, endless bays and coves which covers almost 10,000 acres plus it's beautiful waterfall. There will be chances to see bear, eagles, moose, otter, fox, beaver, loons and many other animals and birds. We are located 19 miles back on a well maintained road with a beautiful scenic drive thru wilderness into the World's Largest Game Preserve. This drive-in camp has the atmosphere of a fly-in camp with excellent pricing for the value. Check out our web site for our exceptional prices. When out on the lake, one can fish all day without seeing another boat. Additionally, we have 5 other great fishing lakes that will provide you with another 10,000 acres of surface water w/boats for a great fishing experience. Also, ask us about our excellent fall hunts. For your added convenience, we have boats/motors, canoes, gas, bait, tackle, groceries, ice and licenses all at our store. We are family owned and operated with one-on-one attention. We are the only outfitter & access to Lake Windermere. If you are looking for a fly-in experience...this is the place! Smallmouth bass fishing is the best around. 3-4 lb are caught on a regular basis at Windermere Lake. We also provide boats for an exceptional fly-in experience. Nature and Adventures

We offer 2006 25-15HP Mercury Motors w/ 14' - deep Sylvan boats w/cushioned swivel seats & back rests. We provide boats on our back lakes w/ 3.3- 5.0 HP motors. Also, you may bring your own boat at no additional charge. Pontoon available. Services / Accommodations
Housekeeping cabins all have a lake view. They come complete with full size kitchen, bathroom, hot/cold water, and propane heat. Our campgrounds have 14 well maintained sites with fire rings,picnic tables & lots of space available. We have 15 amp electrical service and boat docks to a majority of our campsites on the lake front. Our campsites offer - Water/Sewer/Elec. hookups & dock. Clean bathrooms, showers & laundry facilities. We accommodate tents, campers, 5th wheels, RVs & buses. Beach & lake view lots avail. We're located just off highway 101 between Wawa & Chapleau. Turn on Esher Healy Rd heading north, just 19 miles back on a well maintained road . The Esher Healy Rd runs thru the Chapleau Game Preserve. You can't miss us, the road ends at our lodge. Our camp is unique because we offer our guests a fly-in experience with the ability to drive to us on a well maintained road 19 miles back off of highway 101 between Wawa and Chapleau. We are in the World's Largest Game Preserve. Looking to do something a little more primitive, wanting to experience a true wilderness camping adventure. We can set you up on a designated island and supply you w/ everything except your sleeping bag. We also have a Campgrounds avail. Outpost cabin special Oct. 15-29. Excellent fall fishing. Available for moose hunters in Unit 32. $750 Cdn 2 wks or $400 Cdn 1 wk (LESS THAN $50/PERSON PER WK). Accommodates 8 people. We sell fishing and hunting licenses. We run a store with all essential groceries, ice, tackle, minnows, crawlers & leeches. We sell gas and oil - fairly priced.
